The EV100 Autopilot system combines a rugged, reliable hydraulic pump with a proven autopilot system to create a complete hydraulic-actuated autopilot system. The EV100 steers using electric power from your hydraulic pump and is perfect for smaller dinghies, canoes or kayaks. The EV100 steers using electric power from your electrical battery, so there's no need for an external generator or cooling fan. The pump is easily installed in-line with your steering wheel or on a separate base so there's no risk of losing fluid or hardware. There's also a sophisticated control override sequence that overrides the helm to steer using the hydraulic pump or the electric steering wheel. The EV100 steers using your electric steering wheel or electric control surface, with no shift points or clutches to re-set, so there's no risk of having to manually adjust the rudders.
