Product Info for Redding Reloading Bullet Seating Micrometer w/ VLD Seat Plug

The Bullet Seating Micrometer is a highly accurate tool that simplifies bullet seating and aligning. It is marked in inches and in millimeters and can be read with a common metering device or a caliper. With this tool the seating and aligning operation can be done by hand for small pistol or rifle bullets where a high accuracy is not needed. The Micrometer features fine adjustment increments of one thousandth of an inch. Because this tool is so accurate almost any bullet with a standard caliber can be aligned with the seating dies simply by turning slightly on and off the seating dies in the desired increments until the seating dies show the desired bullet seat angle. This tool also features a nut and spacer set so that the spacers can be set anywhere in the seating dies if a close fitting cylinder is not desired.image
