Redding G-RX Dies feature a carbide sizer with push thru base feature to eliminate deformation of the case neck. Carbides last a long time and retain their sharpness for hundreds of hours between replacement. The size die shown in the photo above has a carbide sizer mandrel with push thru base feature. Other manufacturer's products may have a plastic or steel base. Carbides break easily under excessive force.
