Product Info for Redding Reloading Master Hunter Die Set
Redding Master Hunter Dies are used for custom resizing of cases for high performance. Long sleeve expander dies have one or more expanders located in the body of the case (wad). After sizing the case using the included expander die the case is returned to sizing, which holds the case mouth open to allow a smooth release of the bullet. With two expander dies the Master Hunter Set has one die for neck turning and one more to expand the neck for longer case life. A second sizing die with an eccentric expander on a shaft follows the case mouth out to expand the maximum amount of neck-out or headspace. Rather than trim the case or re-thread the necks after sizing the case is a simple excision that saves the maximum amount of ammunition for that particular round. The necks are chamfered and lightly rubbed with a nitrided sizing die is all that is needed. Included with this set is the optional Co-Ax press adapter. Redding Master Hunter Dies are made with strong steel and feature a series of precision crimping rings.
