Redding Reloading Model 3 Powder Measure with pistol chamber 3100 Fabric/Material: Cast Iron, 31% Off w/ Free S&H

The Model 3 with enlarged chamber has the capability of actually putting the powder in the case through the sprue plate. For this reason, it is also referred to as a "Powder Measure With A Pistol Chamber.". The Model 3 with Pistol Chamber features a stainless steel chamber and spout as well as oversized adjusting knobs for both pounds and grains. This powder measure was actually used to load military ammunition during the WWI era (although modern reloading machines can accomplish this task also). The Model 3 with Pistol Chamber also features a separate cutout for the pistol chamber which has to be removed with a hammer and nut. This model was the first in our line of automatic powder measures. Model 3's chamber is actually a pistol chamber, as opposed to the rifle model (which had a separate spacer to allow for mounting a standard powder measure in a rifle frame). There is no question which model of Model 3 powder measure is the best or why we make two models. All three have proven reliable and durable for many years of service.
