Maelstrom X7 - Great light but not for everyone
Overall a very nice light with lots of illumination and light options. My two cents after having it for about a month now...
Not a good tactical light for use with a pistol because it is somewhat large and ergonimcs are just not there for one-handed use and access to all of the options. As an all around light to have at home for any emergency, it shines (literally)! It takes a bit of use to get familiar with the light and how to properly use the many light options. So... overall I highly recommend it unless you plan to specifically use it with a handgun as a tactical flashlight (I prefer my Streamlight NightFighter XL for use with a handgun).
