Good holster but not for everyday - 5.11 Tactical Select Carry Pistol Pouch

I purchased this holster because I wanted something that I could just grab-and-go if I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. This isn't a holster for every day carry.

It holds my full size 1911 in place securely and provides decent trigger protection. One problem I found is that the elastic magazine loops do not securely hold my magazines. The slightest bit of movement can easily make them fall out. Also, it is difficult for me to re-holster my gun while wearing the pack. If the firearm isn't placed in the elastic loops, it can easily fall out when the pack is opened.

This pack is designed to carry the bare essentials ONLY. I can fit my 1911, a spare 7 round mag, ID cards, money, cell phone, flashlight, and small set of keys. So, it gives you room for everything you need, and nothing you don't.
