Bought these boots for myself. I live seculeded in a holler do a lot of trekking and we get a lot of rain too, got horses do a lot of hunting etc. I was looking for a great light weight boots that supports my ankle and would grip the ground and wouldn’t burn up my feet in the summer time. I was not expecting these to be the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. Off pavement is where these things feel the greatest, it real feels like a protective sock, they dig in the dirt like cleats, I can run on the balls of my feet in them. They get wet easy but do dry fast. But these things are so comfortable I dared my wife to try em on and an hour later we ordered some in her size. I can’t speak for longevity but at around $90, I’d be happy buying a new pair 6 months from now just because of how comfortable they are.
