Construction is really, really good and the strap is great. Very tacky and comfortable. The hidden compartment is great for CCW, but accessing the weapon requires fine motor skills to grab the pull tab. Adding a longer strap would be beneficial.
Plenty of pockets for odds and ends. As a briefcase it falls a little short as there's no lengthwise dividers in the main compartment for files, papers, etc.
Silver lining...makes a perfect small low-profile range bag and I'm keeping mine for that purpose. Main compartment can hold tons of ammo and a couple handguns. Pockets can hold everything else. Plenty of padding. Zippered section in back is perfect for paper targets.
