Grendel shooter - 5.11 VTAC Long Range Sling 59124

I've never had a bad experience with anything I've got from 5.11, and the same goes with this sling. It does take some cutting to size it up to your specific weapon, but that is easy enough. My only gripe is how the padding is set up, designed only for muzzle-down slung carry. I don't care for that method of carry as with my 28" AR (49" overall length!) it leaves my muzzle close to the ground, especially when transitioning to the prone. If I kneel, I get a muzzle full of dirt. However, I do understand that it would be very hard to accomplish the purpose of this sling by changing the placement of the padding. That being said, great sling, especially for the price!!
Pros: Very well constructed
Cons: I wish it had more padding for muzzle-up carry
