Lives up to expert reviews... - Carson 3D 8x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars

After much online research, I hesitated for a moment before buying these Carson binoculars - despite the fact that they made the top of my list. They (or at least the 10x model) were thoroughly reviewed and rated highly by several online publications/sites but I was hard pressed to find many customer reviews (I suspect because Carson is not one of the bigger name brands?). I'm so glad I took the chance and ordered them. The quality and performance of the product lives up to the rave reviews I read and for a great price.
Special mention must be made of the high quality and ingenious accessories that come with, such as the wrap around case with magnetic (silent) closures ("binoarmor" I think they call it) that can be left on the binos while in use.
For binoculars at this price point, I can't recommend this set more highly.
