i did not get the STX. optics planet sent me the SX reel instead and informed me they did not offer the STX reel.
the SX reel's performance is sufficient for the money it costs.
the reel is light and does not feel like it is fragile - but some of the components seem to be cheap.
if you are going to use this for a full time reel... you might want to have a back-up ready
