Solid bipod - ACCU-TAC Fc-4 G2 Bipod

The tolerances and design make this very tight and solid. The design puts the apex up high so the rifle has great stability. I am using mine with a very heavy .338 Lapua and have noticed that the tightness of the system is actually a detriment. Since there is no slop to preload against, it is much harder to get straight line recoil and not bounce. Then even if it only bounces a tiny bit, it’s enough to unscrew the feet. An Atlas V8 remains stable, a lighter recoiling round is stable, and a braked .338, rather than suppressed is stable. On the plus side, it does not let you get lazy on fundamentals.
