This monocular works great- the optics are nice and clear, the price is right.
8X is just right for handheld use- too much more power makes it shaky.
My only gripe is the compass. It works fine on level ground but if you are looking either up or down the compass becomes hard to read or unreadable. Minor grips on a great monocular :)
Pros: Clear optics, plenty of features
Cons: compass does not work too well on inclines
