Cannot use iron sights - Adaptive Tactical Tac-Hammer TK22 Ruger 10/22 Takedown Rifle Stock

This is a very well made stock. Solid and not flimsy at all. The pistol grip fits the trigger guard seamlessly. The AR stock locked up well for me, although the 1 inch thick buttpad is a bit ridiculous but it is removable. The forend is sized well without adding bulk. The only downside is this stock must be used with some kind of optic. The stock sits too high on the receiver to use the factory iron sights. There is no mention of this that I could find in the description, hence the -1 star
