A practical, solid optic-ready upgrade for older glock builds - ADE Advanced Optics Glock 26 9mm Pistol Slide

I’ve been wanting to add a reflex sight to my compact Glock for training sessions and defensive practice, but finding an optic-ready slide for older Glock 26 frames was tougher than I expected. This RMR-cut slide solved that perfectly on my Gen 2 pistol. The machining quality is excellent and the finish matches my factory frame so it doesn’t look out of place. My gunsmith installed it with proper torque and threadlock, then mounted my preferred mini dot. Zero was easy to establish once I got from irons to the dot, and the slide tracks smoothly with no timing issues. Target transitions are considerably faster now, especially in low-light or stressful drills. Heads-up to others: this slide is specifically for Gen 1–Gen 3 Glock 26s — it will not lock up correctly on Gen 4, Gen 5, or Gen 6 frames without custom machine work.
