Practical way to extend the life of an older glock - ADE Advanced Optics Glock 26 9mm Pistol Slide

I wasn’t ready to move on from my trusty Glock 26, even though newer models come MOS-ready from the factory. This aftermarket RMR slide was the perfect solution to extend the life and capability of my Gen 2 build. Installation was clean, and once the dot was mounted and sighted, it became obvious how much quicker I could engage targets at varying distances. The slide cycles crisp, and I haven’t noticed any degradation in recoil feel or reliability. The main thing for others to know: this slide is not universal — it fits older frames (Gen 1–Gen 3) and won’t drop onto Gen 4 or newer models without major modifications.
