Excellent budget optic for my security 9 - ADE Advanced Optics RD3-006 1x Reflex Green Dot Sight w/Ruger Security 9 Optic Mount Plate

I've tried a couple of inexpensive pistol optics over the years and honestly expected another disappointment. This one surprised me. The included Ruger Security 9 plate fit perfectly after replacing the factory rear sight, and once everything was torqued down it stayed solid.

The green dot is much easier for my eyes to pick up than red, especially on bright afternoons. I was also pleasantly surprised by the motion-activated feature. I leave the pistol in my range bag and the dot wakes right up every time I pick it up.

I've put roughly 700 rounds through the gun so far and haven't needed to re-zero it. For the money, this package offers far more value than I expected.
