I've owned several handgun optics ranging from entry-level models to optics costing over three times as much. I wasn't expecting this ADE to compete with premium brands, but I mainly wanted something affordable for my Ruger Security 9 range gun.
After four months and somewhere around 1,200 rounds, it has exceeded my expectations. The optic has stayed zeroed despite frequent range trips. Windage and elevation adjustments were positive during sight-in, and once locked in they haven't drifted.
The motion activation has become one of my favorite features because I don't have to remember whether I turned it off. Battery life has been excellent so far, and the green dot remains visible in bright outdoor conditions.
No optic is perfect, but considering the complete package includes both the optic and mounting plate, I think it's an outstanding value for someone wanting to get into pistol red dots without spending several hundred dollars.
