You get what you pay for - ADE Advanced Optics RD3-006B 1x26mm Mini Reflex Micro Sight

This is a lower cost green dot sight. As such you need to set your expectations accordingly. The sight turns on, mounts, and adjusts as it should. The housing is metal and appears to be sturdy. The battery is located in the base which is exposed until you mount it. Just be aware when purchasing - nothing wrong with it. My one and only complaint is that the green dot is not clear. On low power it actually looks like there are 4 dots close together, and on high power it is a large dot with fuzzy outlines. My guess it that it is imperfections in the optics (either the glass, the coatings on the glass, or the LED/Laser projecting the dot). It is functional but obscures more of the sight picture than I had anticipated. I have used friends' higher end red-dots (like Holoson, etc.) and they are much sharper and clearer. So I would just say that you get what you pay for. I have not be able to take it to the range yet and cannot say how well it handles recoil on a 9mm platform. If possible, I will update the review later.
