Kevin Marshall's Review of ADE Advanced Optics RD3-012 Mini Reflex Red Dot Micro Sight
I've been shooting recreationally for more than twenty years and have accumulated optics from nearly every major brand. The RD3-012 was purchased mainly because I wanted an inexpensive optic for a secondary setup.
After using it extensively, I honestly forgot it was supposed to be the "budget" option. The glass is surprisingly clear with minimal tint. The dot remains consistent across brightness settings and doesn't flare excessively for my eyes.
What impressed me most was durability. It has survived bumps, travel, and a few accidental knocks without losing zero. Battery changes are quick and simple. For anyone looking for a dependable compact optic without spending a fortune, this is a very solid choice.
