A little less than what i expected - ATI Outdoors X1 AK-47 Pistol Grip

I purchased this for installation on a SDS Imports Cheetah 12 gauge shotgun. I've always been a fan of the Houge overmolded grips, thought I'd give this one a try for the recoil aspect of the grip. I didnt care for the grip being a soft material on the rear, then a hard plastic in the front. I think it would be a better product if the hard plastic part was an overmolded rubberized material like the Houge products. I could feel the mold seam on the front of the grip running down across my fingers. While holding the grip, if you twist your hand, the seam between the hard plastic and soft material separates slightly. I'm not sure that matters at all, but when your doing mag changes and alot of the firearms weight is on the grip, I want my grip to feel as solid as possible. That, combined with the grip haveing no storage, made me install a Houge. Just feels better in the hand. Just one mans opinion, take it for what you will.
