HORRIBLE DESIGN
BOUGHT THIS A MONTH AGO AND PUT IT ON A BRAND NEW RIFLE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS HORRIBLE! GAS REVERSES DIRECTLY BACK TO SHOOTERS FACE LOOKS GOOD BUT NOT RECCOMENDED I WILL BE REPLACING IT. AND UPDATING THIS REVIEW TO SEE IF THATS WHY MY RIFLE IS GASING ME OUT .

Great product
This is my second shark muzzle break that I have bought for my gun builds. Great product for the price and looks aggressive! Have one on a 16” barrel and now a 7.5” barrel. Will be apt to buy another one in the future when doing another build.

Awesome (LOUD) (AGGRESSIVE)
Going to say that its very very aggresive/Loud . Depending on your taste it can be good or bad . In my case I love it . Only downside is that it does tend to throw gas I believe back at the shooters face so id suggest using safety glasses or taking more caution.

Not for Everyone, Aggresive Design
This muzzle brake suits me, but its not for everyone. The side exhaust baffles direct the gases to the back and side, not just the side. I get a little bit of a light air burst on the top of my head each shot. That being said, it performs remarkably well. The design actually creates both down and forward thrust, which yields minimal muzzle flip and minimal recoil. My ar15 handles and shoots almost like a .22 now.

Seems Used
I purchased this over a month ago, which I knew it was back ordered. First issue was I emailed them to change the order to the black one that was in stock, no reply. Second issue, I just received it and the thing has indents and scratch marks, looks used and seems to have gun powder residue in the notches.

Easy to install and looks good
Easy to install and looks great. It really gave my AR the aggressive look I was going for. It does add a bit more overall length to the rifle than the traditional flash suppressor, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, I would purchase it again.

Why does no one seem to mention how badly this thing smokes you out. After 6 consecutive shots at my local well ventilated indoor range the smoke in front of me was so bad i could no longer see my target nor could I breath. The people beside me weren't happy either. Not to mention all the carbon caked all over the front 6" of the gun. It literally turned the lense of my Olight black and it wouldn't wipe off. It was so thick that a mild solvent wouldn't remove it. I had to use bore cleaner. I consider myself lucky that it didnt ruin the light. The 223 / 5.56 has such light recoil I realy didn't notice a difference with the gun even after changing out the muzzle brake during my range time. Well... I did notice not getting choked by the massive smoke cloud. I bought it because it looked cool and as far as im conserned that is the only Pro.

absolutely great
I love this for solo shooting especially breaching , punch through glass or drywall like it was paper , on top of that the gas distribution is great . It does add significant weight to the muzzle which is good to keep the rise down

works great, but..
As far as recoil reduction goes, this product it great and functions very well. however, all the gas is directed back to the shooter and will gas you out. Not a big deal if you have a bolt action, but an AR-15 or semi auto gun, I do not recommend. I took it off my rifle within days and the brake is now a paper weight.
