Good stock, but ati is sloppy about instructions and hardware, possibly defective out of the box. - ATI Outdoors Strikeforce Mini-14/Thirty Folding Rifle Stock w/ Gen 2 Tactlite

Just spent more time than I'd like to admit getting the Mini Thirty installed into this. The cons: Missing hardware, assembly not as described, incorrect instructions. Basically I have either a factory defect where no screwhole was drilled to attach the buffer extension arm to the swivel, or the instructions are out of date. I was missing the described button head screw and square nut, so had to go to the hardware store to replace those, and then as I went to assemble it, discovered there is no hole to screw through. The extension tube just presses in? Again, defect, or old instructions? Now I get to call ATI to figure that out. Additionally, the instructions specify a 1/16" inch allen wrench to attach the cheek rest, when they actually provided 5/64" screws. Happy to have the larger size, but now I have to ask how much is incorrect about the rest of the instructions. Very frustrating. I'll update as I get info from ATI.
