12” handguard not 12” - Aero Precision AR15 ATLAS S-ONE M-LOK Handguard

The 12” handguard is actually 13” long. Didn’t find this out until after cerakote and building upper with 12.5” barrel. I cannot attach my can as the barrel does not protrude enough. Now I will need to purchase another handguard that is actually 12” and cerakote again to match upper/lower. Other than this the handguard is great. Just wish Aero would label this as 13” as nowhere in specs does it state the actual length is 13”
