Aero precision full upper - Aero Precision M4E1 AR-15 16in 5.56 Mid Barrel Complete Upper Receiver with Flash Hider

This is an initial review as I just got the thing a couple hours ago. May add more once I do accuracy testing at the range. So, I got my 16” Aero Precision full upper chambered in 5.56/.223 from Optics Planet today. Boxing is awesome (put my old barrel in it to keep it safe). The thing is flawless, flat dark earth with 12” quad rail and not a scratch on it. Slapped it on my Aero Precision X15 lower and it fits like a glove. No wiggle. Dropped my .22LR conversion BCG in there, mounted a holographic site (no time to site it in because it will be dark soon) and I dumped two clips into the “aggressor” on my paper target as fast as I could pull the trigger. I’ve got to tell you I was a little excited waiting for it to get here. It only took 3 days. I’m real excited now. From approximately 30 yards just standing there with no bench many landed as head shots. Have to admit I did slightly graze the innocent guy but just minor flesh wounds. No misfeeds, all 60 casing ejected like pouring rain and I’m way more than happy with the purchase. Can’t wait to blow some stuff up at the range with the 5.56 installed. It would be really difficult not like this. Oh yeah, and it’s light weight, feels natural to hold and looks gorgeous. I would recommend you get yourself one from Optics Planet. This was my first purchase from them and I don’t regret a thing.
