Great upper, aero never disappoints - Aero Precision M4E1 AR-15 18in 5.56 Rifle Barrel Complete Upper Receiver with Flash Hider

First off be aware that Optics Planet has the wrong uppers pictured. They are showing the models w/o the A2 front sight but if you check the model #s that is what you will be receiving. In my case that’s what I wanted.
The upper itself is top notch. For now I have mine on a mil-spec lower in a pistol config but ultimately it will go on an Aero M4E1 lower that will be registered as an sbr. Fit & finish is excellent, as is my usual experience with AP. The one piece upper/barrel nut is solid, this feels like the monolithic uppers I’ve handled. The hand guard is on the larger side but I like it, plenty of room to mount kit without feeling crowded. I’m currently trying to decide which type of rear buis I like better, I have a Magpul MBUS & an LMT A2 that both work well & cowitness with my optic (Holosun 515.)
For the charging handle I’m using the Geissele SCH & it, as with all Geissele products, is smooth as butter & built like granite. BCG is a Bootleg standard & once again everything works as it should.
I can’t recommend Aero products enough. I feel that between them & BCM there’s no reason to look anywhere else.
