Gas port too small - Aero Precision M5 16in .308 CMV Complete Upper Receiver with Flash Hider w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard

Furniture is great. Annoying that it didn’t come with a BCG or charging handle. I bought every other part from Aero Precision to make sure that I had a build that would work. After almost $1600 on all Aero parts, the rifle is VERY undergassed. No ammo cycles. Gas block is aligned correctly and BCG is VERY lubed. Buffer is the lightest you can get (H). Problem identified as gas port being too small at 0.072”. Most barrels this length are 0.8 and up for versatility. After 100 rounds, $2 per round match ammo is starting to cycle but gets mangled every other round with failure to ejects resulting in double feeds. I wanted something that could shoot bulk ammo. This certainly isn’t it.
