Misleading “complete upper receiver” - missing bcg - Aero Precision M5 20in .308 SS Complete Upper Receiver with Flash Hider w/ ATLAS R-ONE Handguard

I recently purchased a complete upper receiver and while the quality of the upper itself was solid, I was disappointed to find that it did not include a bolt carrier group (BCG). In my experience - and based on purchases from several other reputable retailers - a complete upper typically includes the BCG and charging handle. The product did not clearly state that the BCG was excluded, which led to confusion and an unexpected additional purchase. For buyers who are newer to building or upgrading rifles, this could easily be overlooked and cause delays or frustrations. I recommend the company update their product listing to be more transparent about what is and isn’t included. Clear labeling goes a long way in building trust and ensuring customer satisfaction. That said, the upper itself functions well and seems to be built with quality components. Just be aware that “complete” may not mean what you expect here.
