Excellent but nothing is perfect for everyone. - AGM Global Vision Adder TS50-640 Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope 30mm Tube

I am an avid shooter and hunter and I’ll try to be brief. The TS50-640 resolution is great. I have used the TS35 but there is a step up in site resolution with the TS50-640. A thermal scope does not give you a picture like a regular scope. It picks up temperature differences and paints a picture from that information. Don’t expect a site picture like a traditional scope. I found the learning curve to be a little steep but all the options allow for a better image. I relied on videos and fellow shooters to get the most from my AGM. Use the manual for toilet paper. Most important was setting the diopter or the adjustment ring closest to your eye to read the on screen letters and numbers. From there it’s playing around with different settings to get the best picture. It has excellent range for detecting heat. I was surprised. Just don’t get discouraged while trying to set it up. The buttons on top are small, close together and difficult to find in darkness. Impossible with gloves on. Being left handed I had trouble adjusting the focus ring at the far end and changing the thermal colors with the buttons. The scope is beautiful when mounted. It has that “bad a$$ look. I still have things to learn about it but I like the idea of menus where it can be set up for different rifles and then save that setup in a file with a name. The quick release mount allows removal and replacement on different guns and I have different guns I want to use it on. I am well pleased with this thermal. A nickle covered a three shot group at 100 yards with an AR. On a more accurate weapon it would smoke. The AGM warranty and customer service was very very important to me and I have read good things about AGM. If you have $10 to $12 grand to spend you can probably find a scope with a better picture but if we hunt together I will take as many yotes as you if not careful.
