Never had an issues with the rounds actually going off. Pretty good quality at the price point. Only real drawback is that the waxy coating on these rounds and the dirtiness of 22lr ammo in general means this gums up things fairly quickly, as a result the BX-25 round ruger mags jam with these pretty frequently.
