Bad bad ammo - Aguila Ammunition 5.56x45mm NATO 62 Grain Green Tipped Full Metal Jacket Brass Cased Centerfire Rifle Ammunition

At the range today I had 4 out of 12 cartridges blow out primers. One of the primers got lodged and almost locked up my rifle. But here’s the caveat, I was shooting a different AR15 a couple weeks ago; I was using this ammo and another brand. My AR got locked up solid to where I could not field strip it. I was done shooting for the day! I took it home and had to tear it down completely only to find a piece of brass primer lodged in the cam pin. It ruined the bolt. Luckily I keep spare bolts on hand or else the rifle would have been a non-shooter. I thought it was the other brand ammo but now after today I know better. Remember Aquila is ‘Made in Mexico’…imagine that. I repeat DO NOT BUY THIS AMMO. I am not the first one to have this problem with this ammo. You’ve been warned.
