I bought this red dot sight for my rifle, and I have experienced no problems in nearly 1,000 rounds of shooting. I bought this model because I wanted an Aimpoint optic but, as a competitive shooter, I have no need for deep-water submersion. This sight is unquestionably durable, light-weight, and it is compatible with many different mounting options. The appropriate brightness setting for nighttime may be too low for daylight, and, conversely, the appropriate daylight brightness setting may be too bright for the night, but this is easily adjusted with the knob on the sight. It has a distinct click for each setting transition.
