This is a 6x40 fixed power scope. Clearance price $25.
Based on the regular price, I was expecting it to see as well as my $32, regular price, Simmons 4x32.
Granted the Simmons is rimfire only.
No. Images in this scope are not as sharp or as bright as the Simmons.
When compared to my $100 Bushnell 3-9x42 set to 6x, it's even more disappointing.
The Bushnell view is bright, sharp, and clear. The Aim image is not nearly as sharp or as bright.
There are fewer lenses in a fixed power scope. It should be brighter for the same objective size and magnification.

- Appears to be all metal construction. ~10 oz. Not much choice available in 6x scopes.
Cons:
- Image quality. Comes with Weaver rings. OK for centerfire?
Best Used for:
- Putting on a gun to look cool. Not good as a scope.
