I bought a VSKA as a knock around gun, so I bought several things to stick on. This was the most troublesome part, I would advise going with a longer screws on the barrel mount and deepening the crevice of the mount as well. Overall this is a fine product, but if I were to put something like this on a more expensive AK I would go with a Midwest Industries. This is a great option for someone with a VSKA and a the balls to make it fit.
