My Century Arms C308 had no way of attaching lasers or flashlights without this rail. Now I can choose to mount whatever I want. If you don't have calloused hands or wear a glove on your support hand, you may consider the rails digging into your hand as unpleasant. I personally had no issues with it. This also makes it possible to mount a tripod if I ever find one that I can't live without.

  • Does not feel cheap.

  • Mounting a Red-Dot Sight
