Great optic, not so great mounting options - Aimpoint Micro T-2 1x18mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

First time buying my own Aimpoint in the civilian world. Bought the Aimpoint because I knew it was the best- no problem. Get it out of the box, and I can immediately tell it's going to mount too low to co-witness with iron sights. So I go through the box looking for the riser mount- none to be found. Call me a cheapskate, but I xpcted better from Aimpoint. Granted, never had to pay for the ones I used, but I would expect a quality outfit to SUPPLY WHAT IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE OPTIC OPERATIONAL. Going to keep the Aimpoint because it's worth it, but Aimpoint lost a couple of stars.
