I put it on correctly and checked it several times. The laser beam points low and right so far that it can't be adjusted to line up with the sights. Even with moving both allen screws counter clockwise until they are coming out the laser beam points right and low. Too bad, it looks like a quality item but I would not recommend it. It just does not work. I was a Marine with rifle and pistol expert badges so I know how guns work.
Pros:
- Goes on easy enough. Looks like it should work.
Cons:
- Can't adjust high enough or left enough to aim.
Best Used for:
- a door stop
