Very disappointed with this adapter. The AimShot Quick Release Rail Adapter broke immediately during installation before I was even able to get it mounted onto the Picatinny rail.
The retention screw snapped completely and cleanly during the initial installation. I was not applying excessive force or using the adapter in any unusual way. The fact that the screw failed that easily, before the adapter was even installed, points to poor-quality hardware and seriously raises concerns about the durability of the product.
Since it broke before I could even get it onto the rail, I never had the opportunity to actually use or test it. A quick-release rail adapter should be able to withstand a normal installation without a retention screw snapping.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product and would strongly suggest looking for a better-built adapter with higher-quality hardware.
