I used this scope on my Marlin 336W with a Weaver scout scope mount. Excellent clarity for two eye open snap shooting in both minimum and maximum magnification. Using the reticule lighting I was able to bore sight the rifle easily at an extended distance after dark! Very cool... I am considering doing a second scout rifle in 45-70. If so, I will be buying another of these scopes.
