Disappointing overall on my 12 ga. mossy - AIM Sports Shotgun 12G Tri-Rail Barrel Mount

This is not an expensive item so I really wasn't expecting much. This was for an 8 round 12 ga. mossberg so it was an awkward fit. You couldn't just hang it off the barrel, because the shell tube runs the length of the barrel.If you wrapped it around both the barrel and the shell tube, when you tightened it down the action was bound. If you mount it to the tube and then mount a light or combo off the bottom of the rail it hung very low, looked goofy, and made the gun feel very end heavy. The best set up was a light mounted inside the lower side of the clamp with the upper mounted to the tube. Through all this it only comes with one set of screws and they were to long in almost all possible options. The treads were very fine and I felt as though I had to be very careful about exactly how tight I was making them because the felt like they would strip easily. Ultimately I ditched this all together in favor of a single mount that came with 3 sizes of screws that I mounted to the tube and it worked perfect.
