Great optic mount - Aimtech Shotgun Receiver Saddle Mount for 12 ga Ithaca

Mount is solidly engineered, easy to install IF you know your way around an Ithaca Model 37, and holds zero regardless what I run through the gun. I also like the fact the front bead sight is fully visible under the mount. My ONLY complaint is the instructions are very basic. Typically with Model 37s you should remove the butt first, since you want to have front/rear play in the trigger group when removing the trigger group retaining pin. I tried following the written instructions and, predictably, the retaining pin wouldn't come out until I took the butt off and slid the trigger group slightly to the rear. After that everything was smooth sailing. All in all, it's a great product, just not for the novice Model 37 owner.
