Great spotter - Alpen Shasta Ridge 20-60x80mm Waterproof Spotting Scope

I always wanted a quality spotter that didn't require a second mortgage.The 788 fils the bill nicely.Very good image,focus is very good,balance on my full size tripod is excellent ,not at all tippy.Angled eye piece and rotating collar make this scope a real joy to use.Carry bag has been redesigned so that the scope doesn't fall through the zipper.Table top tripod with micro adjust feature give first rate control of scope.Very close to 5 star rating,because the very outer edge of the view a little blurry(nit pick,I know).Got mine several dollars under $300,which is a screemin' deal.Happy?You bet!
