Review for alpen 20-60x80mm spotting scope - Alpen 20-60x80mm Waterproof Spotting Scope w/Tripod, Travel Case

I have a Konus 20x60x80 that is a pretty nice spotting scope that bought a couple years ago, because of the good things I had heard about there product. Well this year when shooting High power XTC a fella that I shoot with had an Alpen 20x60x80 and one of the other fellas said look through that scope its clearer than my Kowa. Well that did it and it is clearer than my Konus which I am still very pleased with. I set the two scopes up side by side and was amazed at the difference. Its brighter on all powers and looks to me like it is actually stronger magnification wise, the field of view looks smaller on the Alpen than the Konus with both having 80mm objective I don't know how to explain the difference. I am happy with this purchase and the people @ optics planet are most helpful! Thank you Bob
Pros: clear optics, nicer tripod than comes with most spotters and fitted hard case
Cons: heavy but I expected that
