I think their quality is fading… - Altama Vengeance 8in Slip Resistant Side-Zip Boot - Mens

I’m on my 5th pair of Altama Vengeance boots. I tried just about every brand of 8” side zip boot available and came across the Vengeance years ago. I’ve been proud to share the word of their quality and longevity over the years. My most recent pair started delaminating at the toe and lost the stitching designed to keep that from happening at 5 months. My previous pair did the same, but took a little longer to do so. Both pairs have had a much shorter lifespan than the 3 previous pairs. I don’t know if I’ve gotten a bad batch, been rougher than normal, or if quality indeed has declined. I can say they are a great boot. I have never had a single issue with a zipper on any of them and that always seemed to be the first problem with many other brands. I think I will probably buy another pair and hope for longer than 5 months.
