Co-witness with vortex venom - AmeriGlo Black Serrated, 407in Wide Front, 507in Notch, Flat Black Rear Sights

I installed this set on a Glock 40 Gen 4 MOS that has the Vortex Venom red dot. You do get absolute co-witness which is what I was looking for. I know many prefer the 1/3 co-witness and for me this is my first red dot on a pistol. I have been shooting just the red dot alone and decided that adding the proper iron sights would make sense. I installed this set myself with the use of a wooden vise and a wood punch I made for the rear sight removal and then addition. The front sight replacement actually took me a bit longer than it should have because the tool I bought for the job was too thick in the sidewall and I had to grind it down to work. I would recommend this sight set for the Vortex Venom. I did not need to file down the rear sight dove tail at all. I did put a little WD-40 on a Q-tip and just very light on the surface. I would say overall the installation was straightforward and without much drama other than the tool I had bought for the front sight removal.
