M's Review of AmeriGlo Trooper Sets of Pistol Tritium Night Sights for Glock
For Glock 42.The sight is totally different than the one pictured. I installed it on a Ruger LCP custom, and hangs off the end badly and snags on everything, so I have to remove it. The rear sight has too wide a notch, and the front sight is narrower than a normal night sight. A poor design, and bad combo for sure. There is way too much space on each side of the front sight, in the sight picture. You will have to take the time extra , to measure both the large spaces on each side of the front sight, and then calculate and adjust, so that they are even, before you can even try to make an accurate shot, causing a very noticeable disadvantage in speed and accuracy. So this product is dynamically obsolete by design, to me, as a former NRA pistol instructor. The tritium works well. Maybe the full sized one is slightly better, if they didn't mess up the front sight width. Ameriglow keeps making these bad, wider notch gap rear sights as a trend. Now all their sights are just sloppy, gappy, and horrible. Trijicon bought the company. Their sights are slightly better. I need to replace the Ameriglow wide slop gap rear operator sight on my Model 32 also, to get it back to normal. I should have sent this trooper sight back for sure. Overpriced too.
