Anthony Toledo's Review of Ammo, Inc. Signature .38 Special 125 grain Total Metal Jacket Brass Cased Centerfire Pistol Ammunition

I purchased a box of 300 cartridges of this .38 special ammunition several months ago when ammo was hard to come by. I finally had occasion to shoot the ammunition this past week. I loaded it into my new Rhino revolver from Chiappa. Fired at a target. Didn't hit anything. Didn't even see where the rounds ended up. Odd. Then I loaded up my Ruger in the same caliber with the same ammo. Fired. The report sounded anemic. Upon checking, the slug was poking out the barrel of the weapon, not quite having cleared the barrel. Then I became quite alarmed. The primer had gone off, but there either wasn't any actual powder in the cartridge or there wasn't enough of it. Went back to check the Rhino. Sure enough, there were slugs stacked in the barrel with a big old bulge in it. I'm lucky to have a hand. There are numbers on the box that might inform about the batch, but honestly I'll never trust this company again. Near the bar code it reads: 38125TMC-B300. This ammo killed a 1200 dollar revolver.
