Some rounds are weak performers - Ammo, Inc. Signature .38 Special 125 grain Total Metal Jacket Brass Cased Centerfire Pistol Ammunition

I've bought a few boxes this ammo and been going to the range to do some target practice. So far the first boxes were fine and clean. However, the last box had some weak loads. One of the rounds sounded like a 22 from my 38 special snubby. Another round sounded over powered and another sounded very low powered. All loaded in the same cylinder. No squibs, but I feared it might happen so I stopped using it.
