If the helmet fits, walk the walk - AR500 Armor The Protector Helmet

This is a near identical ballistic k pot helmet I was issued in the Corp in the late 90's. Even purchased a PASGT NVG bracket on ebay and mounted my PVS 14 to it. 10/10 great set up. I dont like modern helmets that dont protect your ears that well. I use in the ear electronic ear-pro so I would rather have the extra protection from the ear shelf than have it cut away. Make sure you get a helmet cover, preferably one with Velcro spot on the back so you can stick a counter weight to the back if you end up using this for nods like me. My only detractor would be the chin strap. The chin strap has a single buckle prong on top instead of the 2 laterally I'm used to. Different, but not bad. Would recommend to a friend but certainly not a foe...
